Humanitarian & Emergency Reproductive Health
Girls & Goals Initiative works to ensure that the sexual and reproductive health and hygiene needs of girls and women are not overlooked during emergencies. We support vulnerable and displaced communities affected by conflict, flooding, displacement, and other crises, while exploring systems-level approaches to strengthen reproductive health preparedness and response.
Key Initiatives
Emergency Reproductive Health & MISP Support
We provide essential menstrual and hygiene supplies in crisis-affected settings, informed by the Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) approach to sexual and reproductive health in emergencies.
Emergency Hygiene & Menstrual Support Packages
Our context-specific packages may include menstrual products, underwear, soap, toothbrushes, sanitizers, and other essential hygiene items based on the needs of affected communities.
Reproductive Health Preparedness & Systems Advocacy
We are working to promote the inclusion of essential menstrual and reproductive health supplies within broader emergency preparedness and response systems, including engagement with relevant emergency-management stakeholders.
Support for Displaced & Vulnerable Communities
We work with displaced communities to address immediate menstrual health needs while also exploring longer-term approaches that strengthen livelihoods, resilience, and community self-reliance.
