Women’s Health, Wellbeing & Economic Empowerment
Girls & Goals Initiative recognizes that women’s health, wellbeing, and economic participation are closely connected. We create practical opportunities for women, particularly those working in underserved and informal-sector settings—to access health support, rest, care, and opportunities that strengthen their wellbeing and productivity.
Key Initiatives
Project GWAB — Give Women A Break
A women’s wellbeing initiative that creates intentional opportunities for women in the informal economy to pause from their daily work, access health checks and referrals, experience wellness activities, and receive meals and take-home support for themselves and their families.
Women’s Health & Wellness Outreach
We incorporate basic health screening, health education, referrals, and wellbeing support into our community-based programming, particularly for women who may face barriers to routine healthcare.
Women’s Economic Empowerment
We support women with practical skills and livelihood opportunities that can strengthen their ability to earn, support their families, and build greater economic resilience.
Community-Based Women’s Support
Through partnerships and grassroots interventions, we create supportive spaces where women can access resources, information, care, and opportunities to improve their wellbeing and livelihoods.
